Enhancing Range of End-to-End Solutions for On-Demand Textile Production

 

Integrations Will Supplement Sustainable, Digitized Textile Production with Automation and Curing Mechanisms for Streamlined Process, Superior Quality and Durability

Kornit Digital Ltd. announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Lichtenau, Germany-based Tesoma. The acquisition is expected to be completed on or before April 1, 2022, following the satisfactory completion of business transition and integration plans.

Tesoma is globally recognized for its expertise in high-quality engineering, automation, and performance of its cutting-edge textile curing solutions and their accompanying software components.

Tesoma’s technology and solutions align with Kornit’s vision for incorporating robotic process automation and digitizing the on-demand textile production process, with a seamless, sustainable, and streamlined end-to-end workflow that maximizes throughput relative to labor and materials, while optimizing product quality and versatility.

In addition to automating key steps of the production process, integrating Kornit’s print systems with Tesoma’s curing technology is expected to yield intelligent user functionalities, such as quality assurance mechanisms and industry 4.0 connectivity and functions.
