The Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro won best DTG printer at the EDP Awards

Here at Kornit, the recognition, and feedback that matter most are those given by our loyal customers, who report overcoming problems that have been holding back their printing capabilities for years, enabling them to provide better products to their audience.

Having said that, we do enjoy getting industry recognition, as we did earlier this month with the exciting win of the Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro, which was named the best direct-to-garment printer at the 2019 EDP Awards.

Each year, an expert Technical Committee selects the top printing technologies based on criteria such as quality, performance, innovation, and cost. The strict criteria and selective process make the EDP Awards a printed stamp of approval in the industry. Winning this prestigious award means a lot.

And the best part? The winning system was not even nominated by Kornit! Jury members have heard about the new advanced NeoPoly technology and chose to examine the new printer themselves.

The European Digital Press Association was impressed with the Avalanche Poly Pro’s revolutionizing polyester printing abilities. The single-step system enables short-run and on-demand polyester printing without minimum quantity per-order. It prevents dye migration, a known problem in the field of polyester printing, and preserves the original properties of a variety of fabrics. The system goes hand in hand with the new NeoPigment Olympia ink set, which was developed specifically for high-quality polyester printing.

But don’t take our word for it! Here’s part of what the EDP Technical Committee had to say:

“The Kornit NeoPoly technology is a breakthrough when it comes to printing on polyester textiles. With a new pigmented Poly Pro ink, it is possible to print directly on polyester (sports) clothing, and thanks to the white ink it is also possible to print on colored textiles.”

Following the impressive win, Ronen Samuel, Kornit’s CEO, commented: “We are honored to have won this award. We focus on removing industry barriers and continuously deliver digital innovation to the garment and textile printing industry. We remain committed to our customers’ success as they address new business opportunities in a more efficient and sustainable fashion”.

As we’ve already mentioned, winning awards is a wonderful way of being acknowledged for the hard work we put into every Kornit product, but that’s not why we do what we do. As the Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro enters the market, our biggest reward would be hearing back from our customers and learning about your (and your end customers’) experience in using it.
